TEHRAN, May. 22 (ISNA)-Iran parliament's cultural commission deputy stated that creating an English international channel was a necessity for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
"Creating this channel in an international level considering that most media are currently influenced by the U.S. and the Zionist regime, so to protect the values of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a necessity," said Javad Arian Manesh.
"Aside from that the need for a channel which communicates and transmits the opinions and beliefs of the Islamic Republic of Iran to those interested is felt," he added.

well, the channels are really important to the status of the service, I am not so sure about the topic but I think that the television is really important!
